Yesterday, I had another photoshoot with Stanley and his cousin, Dan (a superb fashion photographer from Cebu). Since Liee was having a bad day, I invited her to go with me for the shoot as an uplifter and I didn't know it would be such an exhilirating experience for both of us. It was a tag-team hair-and-makeup team (you guessed it... there's HAIR involved by us hair-phobes) and a couple of photographers-fashion stylists so the job is definitely well-done.
This is Lauren. She's a model who's an expert on ramp but she nailed this fashion photoshoot like she's been doing photoshoots since the day she learned to walk. While we were doing her makeup, she found out that Liee and the ones behind Baklitaan and she got all so kilig kasi she happened to be a Baklitaan fan as well. Stanley and Dan were great in coaching her and producing excellent shots as always. And talagang cousins sila - they know how to style, they do their research, and they're both very creative and resourceful. And they're such great people to work with. Ay naku... watch out for the crew shots!
I call the first look the Marimar-inspired look - natural makeup (a staple in my website as you will see), flowy summer dress, cascading curls, and kilometric lashes. The look spells innocence with a hint of sexiness but overall, it's very clean and fresh.
Second look is a look that has sultry, dark, smoky eyes and pale lips, just like the sexy 60s screen sirens. The waves were more tumbling and the dress darker. Lauren loved the look so much ayaw na niya galawin kahit kelan. :)
